Radio Broadcast Expendable Soldiers – 1. Invasion

Starting from 2 September 2021, radio station “Reading Radio”, which is in Brisbane, Australia, will broadcast a public reading of the book Expendable Soldiers 1.- Invasion, by SJ Aspen.
Reading Radio is part of an Australia-wide community radio network that is popular with people who have vision and reading difficulties, including the elderly. Brisbane is Australia’s 3rd largest city and the station broadcasts to a potential local audience of 4 million people.
Radio station Reading Radio is located on frequency 1296 on the AM band and broadcasts online at https://readingradio.org.au/listen-live/.
The station will broadcast pre-recorded 30-minute readings of the book from Monday to Friday starting at 18:00 hours (AEST).
Readers should note the second book in the three book Expendable Soldiers series, called Expendable Soldiers 2.- Retribution, was published in July 2021. The second book continues the story of John Knight and his colleagues and their fight against the Japanese invaders.
The third and final book in the series, called Expendable Soldiers 3. – Counterpunch, is expected to publish in mid-2022. There are no plans for a radio reading of the second or third books in the Expendable Soldiers series.
